Default location of DOORS cache/temp directory on Windows 7

I do not have a LOCALDATA registry setting in my DOORS deployments. In my custom icon that I give my DOORS users, I enable caching (-k) because I believe it's possible to get slightly better performance with it. (I'm not sure it's true, but I believe it is).

My client is slowly migrating to Windows 7. These Win7 machines are locked down pretty tight compared to the XP Machines. When DOORS got slow for a client, I would have them clear out their DOORS cache by going to "C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Telelogic" as directed by IBM in one of their technotes.

Now, in Win7, I thought C:\users\<username>\Application Data would exist but it doesn't. Instead, it's AppData. Go in there, though, and there is no Telelogic folder.

DOORS has to have a temporary cache somewhere, even if it's just for the life of the session. I've searched for a possible location but to no avail. Do any of you have an idea?

Thanks!
Kevin

On my W7 Professional 64-bit laptop with DOORS 9.3 the cache files are created in
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Telelogic\DOORS\Temp directory - so check under
the Roaming subdirectory?

Are you not able to login to DOORS?
If you are able to, you can find the location of the temp folder with the following DXL statement:
print getenv("LOCALDATA")

Thanks guys. You were both spot on. One thing I tried doing was searching for the Telelogic folder, but explorer apparently doesn't include the roaming folder in the search results.

I didn't think to do the getenv("LOCALDATA") dxl because I (wrongly) figured that since I didn't have it in my registry it wouldn't have worked. I should have known better! ;)
